These portraits are of some of my closest friends, taken with slide film and processed in a color negative darkroom. Light sensitive paper was folded, crumpled and otherwise distressed, and these patterns are the result of using an enlarger and exposing the paper to the light shining through the portraits. In essence, the paper becomes a singular physical piece of art.
